Black Cat cigarette packet

During the refurbishment of the station the doors were removed from their frames in order to strip and paint the woodwork and restore the hinges.  This cigarette packet was used to pack one of the hinges on the front door to the station building.

Black Cat cigarettes were produced by the tobacco company Carreras Ltd.  This packet probably dates from the 1940's.
