All Aboard! Heritage Talks

 


 

 

 
 
Each talk will run on the last Thursday of the month from 6pm - 7:30pm at Bat & Ball Station
 

Heritage Talks are all inspired by heritage, history, and trains. The talks will be hosted by a series of speakers who are leaders in their field, presenters, and local historians. Before the talk there will be drink refreshments available for purchase including tea, coffee, and wine.

 

Tickets are £5 for Ed Thompson's talk are available for purchase HERE via Eventbrite or you can purchase tickets at Sevenoaks Town Council or Bat & Ball Station Cafe.

Christmas Event

 

 

 

 

 Ho ho ho! It's time to meet Father Christmas before he does his rounds on December 24th...

At the event, meet Father Christmas and receive a free gift for each visitor. There will also be the chance to make your own Christmas decorations, wrapping paper, and wreaths- prefect to decorate the house with!
The event is aimed for children under 13yrs, but all are welcome!
The Station cafe will be open for refreshments.
*Please note guardians or parents must be with their children at all times. These are free tickets per child. It is a drop in event and therefore will be first come first serve.

Parking: Although the APCOA parking signs at the Station carpark aren't clear for blue badge holders, it is confirmed that you do not need to register your blue badge with Bat & Ball Station APCOA carpark.

 


 

Bug Hotels and Bird Boxes


 

 

 

 Our Station wildlife needs help!

Due to the loss to local habitat, climate change, and pesticide use these small but important insects are slow diminishing. Bug and bee hotels act as a great hideaway home for wildlife, hosting pollinators such as solitary bees, ladybirds and woodlice, or even hedgehogs and toads!

Would you like to build a bug or bee hotel for our Station?

Join in by building one out of recycled materials such as tin cans, large plastic bottles, loo rolls, broken tiles or pots, and so much more. Here's a few websites to help you out:
