Oral History Volunteer

Creating oral histories, by capturing information that would otherwise be lost, for future generations. Interviewing communities and local members of the community can reveal fascinating, previously undocumented, record of life at the station furthering how we integrate and understand Bat & Ball Station.

In this role, you will be capturing and collecting local memories of the station by interviewing and recording those who have lived, worked, holidayed and been brought up in Sevenoaks. This is a sensitive role, so it is best suited to those who enjoy engaging with communities and others on a personal level.

We will assist with specific training for this position, and you will need prior knowledge of recording equipment.
